Special Winter Package - 40% OFF PORTHMEURIG PRICES
The last two winters have been so unpredictable that we feel we should introduce a flexible package to suit the season. We have reduced our winter tariffs at Porthmeurig, Tenby by 40% (including short breaks). We are able to do this by taking out the hamper and some of the store cupboard items from the package and by relying on our Tenby based assistant to deal with the changeovers. If you are unable to get toTenby because of the weather we will refund you in full - no questions asked.

Do you have Welsh Ancestors? If they came from west Wales (Carmarthenshire, Cardiganshire and Pembrokeshire) then they probably worked on the land or in associated trades. There is a strong possiblity that they would have had connections with a small farm such as Cefnmeurig either as owner, tenant or servant.
We invite you to stay at our atmospheric Cefnmeurig Cottage to research your past, get to know the land of your forebearers and to see the world through their eyes. This is an exciting and life enhauncing journey which we have been lucky enough to enjoy ourselves- we highly recommend it!
The package will include:
- the services of a professional family historian - Greg Howes. Greg is specialises in West Wales research and has worked extensively with the BBC and HTV on Celebrity Family History programmes. A consultation before your holiday and half days help during your stay will be included in the price. Greg is very flexible and will either review your reseach in the comfort of Cefnmeurig, spend half a day with you at the local Records Office or be your guide visiting churches, chapels or any other site that is of interest to you. You decide which option suits you best;
- unrestricted access to our unique library of Welsh genealogy, family history and Welsh History, during your stay;
- unrestricted broadband access to Ancestry.co.uk and Findmypast.co.uk, during your stay.
